In a last ditch attempt to win the general election (or bribe the electorate in other words) Berlusconi has promised to overturn a much disliked property tax, the IMU. Writing to each household in Italy, he has gone even further by promising to reimburse the money that people have already paid. Given his previous reputation for trustworthiness, reliability and sound financial management, a new poster campaign is doing the internet rounds.
We will restore bald people’s hair.
